As high-speed 3D printing becomes increasingly important with the introduction of high-speed 3D printers, FormFutura is pleased to introduce a range of new and existing enhanced materials to our product range. While still suitable for conventional printers, these materials have also been fully optimized for the new high-speed 3D printing technology.
ABSpro flame retardant is a professional, halogen-free, self-extinguishing filament. It is designed to meet UL 94 V-0 flammability standards. The standard requires that vertical burning of filament (or a 3D-printed object) must be stopped within 10 seconds.
The blend used for our ABSpro flame-retardant filament contains a high proportion of PC, ABS, and halogen-free flame retardant modifiers. These flame-retardant modifiers allow the filament to be printed at relatively low temperatures.

These settings ranges should work for most printers, but please feel free to experiment outside of these ranges if you feel this is appropriate for your printer. There are many different types of printers, hotends, and printer offsets, making it extremely difficult to achieve a consistent overall setting.
*) Due to the relatively high amount of added polycarbonate, ABSpro – Flame Retardant is prone to warping and therefore it is recommended to use a temperature-controlled build chamber and prepare your heated bed with DimaFix fixative spray when 3D printing large(er) scaled objects with ABSpro – Flame Retardant.
